WAYS OF SEEING

Synopisis: A romantic AI and a filmmaker discuss the nature of images and the history of the human conquest of representation. Their conversation spans from a 16th century perspectival treatise, to lens optics, and even as far as images of love. While the filmmaker creates images of her world, it is depictions like these that make up the AI’s complete visual sphere. This leads to the central question of what it means for such an entity to visually represent its own experience.
